	All participants in The Leukemia Cup Regatta events agree to raise a minimum amount of funds to benefit research and patient services for those affected by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Fundraising goals vary based on each event, and most participants easily reach their goals through personal donations and fundraising activities. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's chapter staff and Regatta volunteer team provide fundraising support through: A participant handbook filled with fundraising ideas including sample letters, event ideas and planning guides Your own Web site to collect donations and tell others about your participation in The Leukemia Cup Regatta Past participants and Society staff who will provide ideas and strategies that have helped hundreds of participants reach their minimum goals Goals and deadlines to help you evaluate your fundraising progress All participants are eligible to win great prizes, including an all-expense paid trip to the annual Fantasy Sail Weekend hosted by ESPN sailing commentator and Regatta national chairman Gary Jobson.
