| Sunday, March 16, 2008 Columbia Center Seattle, WA 8:30 a.m. - First Wave |
The Big Climb for Leukemia is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at the Columbia Center (formerly Bank of America Tower) in downtown Seattle. The 69-flight course includes 1,311 steps, 19 steps per flight and 788 feet of vertical elevation.
The Big Climb offers participants a challenging workout, a stunning finish line, and the chance to make a real difference in the fight against blood cancers. The fundraising goal for the 21st Annual Big Climb is $500,000. To achieve this goal, we encourage each participant to meet or exceed the $150 fundraising average.
Participants choose to either race up the timed stairwell or to climb at their own pace in the untimed stairwell. This is a great event for the whole family! Anyone over the age of eight is eligible to participate and all participants receive an event T-shirt.
