The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will sponsor focused workshops when they serve to advance the mission of LLS and thus, have a significant impact on the prevention, diagnosis or management of leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

These workshops should make a unique contribution to progress that cannot be achieved at the annual meeting of professional societies (eg. the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association of Cancer Research and others) and the other scientific and medical meetings on leukemia and lymphoma that are held each year.

One or two workshops may be sponsored each year by LLS. The maximum award for a workshop will be $30,000.

A concise publication of the workshop presentations is required (see application). LLS will assist you in finding a venue for publication, but careful editing must be performed by the principal applicant.

***Funding for Focused Group Workshops is closed for 2010.  We are currently revising the program and we will be updating our guidelines and instructions.  The program is scheduled to reopen in the Fall.
